Wrong-way collisions occur when two or more vehicles crash when vehicles traveling in the opposite direction on a highway or ramp collide. These collisions are among the most deadly and regularly result in fatalities. Findings from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety show that 430 individuals died in the United States as a result of wrong-way collisions between 2010 and 2018. Nearly half of these fatalities involved a wrong-way driver, and the majority of these drivers were drunk at the time of the collision. You could be hurt in a collision at any time, and there is a high chance that you will have major injuries.
