A total of 142 motorcycle fatalities—or nearly 14.3% of all road fatalities in Michigan that year—took place in the state in 2017, and statistics show that motorcyclists are approximately 28 times more likely than other road users to sustain fatal injuries in an accident.Losing a loved one is never easy, and the surviving family members may be responsible for any financial losses that result from the accident.
