Polkton Twp, MI (June 7, 2023) - On Wednesday morning, June 7, the operator of a tractor was seriously injured after being hit by a semi-truck in Polkton Township.

The accident was reported on 80th Avenue at around 12:20 a.m. A 32-year-old Conklin man was driving a tractor hauling a manure spreader headed north when he was hit by a tractor-trailer driven by a 64-year-old Coopersville man. The semi-truck jackknifed, and the tractor was pushed into southbound traffic, where it was hit by another 18-wheeler.

The man was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a hospital in serious condition. No additional information has been provided at this time.
