Mt Pleasant, MI (June 4, 2023) - A Clare man was killed following a motorcycle accident in Mount Pleasant on Sunday, June 4.

The deadly accident took place at the 1000 block of East Rosebush Road at around 10:51 a.m. It was reported that a pickup truck was towing a utility trailer when it attempted to turn left into a driveway. The vehicle was hit by a 2001 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.

The rider, 68-year-old man Roger Stalter, was pinned beneath the two vehicles. He was pronounced dead by responding paramedics.

No other injuries were reported.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
