Grand Rapids, MI (June 4, 2023) - A woman was injured after being struck by a motor vehicle assisting at the scene of another accident in Grand Rapids on Sunday morning, June 4.
At around 1:15 p.m., two vehicles reportedly collided at the intersection of Madison Avenue and 28th Street. A driver reportedly ran a flashing red light and struck another vehicle. Another motorist in the area crashed into one of these vehicles, along with a 32-year-old Wyoming woman who had stopped to help at the crash site.
One of the drivers was arrested for driving under the influence. No additional information has been provided at this time.
