Walker, MI (June 3, 2023) - Two people were injured after a two-vehicle collision in Walker on Wednesday, May 31.

The accident was reported at the intersection of Elmrige Drive and 3 Mile Road at around 8 a.m. A driver was making a left turn when they were hit by an eastbound pickup truck. The 27-year-old Grand Rapids man driving the car that was hit was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

The 37-year-old Grand Rapids man driving the pickup was also hurt and was treated at the scene. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
