Kingsford, MI (June 3, 2023) - Two people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a building on Pyle Drive in Kingsford on Thursday afternoon, June 1.
The accident occurred as a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria was traveling on the roadway and crashed into the Northpointe Behavioral Healthcare building at 715 Pyle Dr at around 2:15 p.m. The driver was reportedly sitting on a bench and being treated by Northpointe staff. Three people were reportedly inside the room that was hit, and one was hurt.
That person was taken to Marshfield Hospital and later flown to the University of Madison in serious condition. The driver was also transported to Marshfield Hospital for treatment.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
