Flint Twp, MI (June 3, 2023) - A head-on crash in Flint Township on Saturday, May 27, left two people dead and another in critical condition.
At around 10:35 p.m., two vehicles collided on Interstate 75 near Beecher Road. It was reported that a 43-year-old man from Flint Township was traveling south in the northbound lanes when he crashed head-on with an oncoming sedan. The 27-year-old Flushing resident driving the sedan suffered critical injuries.
Two occupants in the sedan suffered fatal injuries in the impact. They were identified as a 24-year-old Flushing woman and a 31-year-old Mundy Township man. All lanes were closed, and alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
