Warren, MI (March 24, 2022) - An 8-year-old girl was hospitalized after an apartment fire broke out in Macomb County. Firefighters were called to the scene, located at the Warren Manor apartments, at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23.
The incident took place along Dequindre Road near Eight Mile Road. The injured girl was transported to the Children’s Hospital in Detroit, according to the Warren Fire Department.
The extent of her injuries remains unknown at this time. No other injuries were reported in the blaze.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
