Holland, MI (March 22, 2022) - On Monday, a 26-year-old Holland woman was injured in a traffic collision in Holland. Initial reports reveal that officers responded to the scene just before 11:00 p.m. on March 21.
The incident was reported on Riley Street near Westland Court in Ottawa County. The two-vehicle wreck occurred when a 43-year-old man from Holland was headed east on Riley Street in a Ford Escape.
The man was eastbound in the left lane when he merged into the right lane that was occupied by a Honda HR-V. This resulted in the collision that caused the 26-year-old woman’s injuries.
The woman sustained non-fatal injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Holland Community Hospital. A 26-year-old passenger who was present in the Honda at the time was not hurt in the crash.
The Holland Township Fire Department rendered aid at the crash scene. At this time, nothing further has been reported concerning the circumstances of the wreck.
