Detroit, MI (March 21, 2022) - A woman lost her life in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Detroit on Sunday, March 20. At approximately 8:30 p.m., the woman was struck by a vehicle that reportedly drove toward a group of people.
Sources say the woman pushed a child out of the way before she was struck by the car on Manning at the intersection with Crusade. The fatal hit-and-run occurred on the front lawn of a home that was full of people watching others argue.
Two groups of people were in the yard fighting when a crowd gathered to watch. The woman was believed to be a part of the crowd.
The victim was transported to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries on Monday morning. Her identity has not been released at this time.
