Charlotte, MI (March 20, 2022) - An auto accident occurred on a roadway in Eaton County on the evening of March 19 that ended in injuries and traffic delays. According to reports, the incident occurred around 9:22 p.m.
Information from officials states that the collision happened on M-43, also known as the Saginaw Highway at the intersection with Robins Road. A crash happened between an unspecified number of vehicles in the area that required an emergency dispatch.
At least one person was hurt in the wreck. Paramedics treated injured parties at the scene before transporting those with extensive injuries to area hospitals for further care as needed.
The roadway was closed in the vicinity of the crash scene while crews worked to clear the area. Traffic was backed up in the area for some time on the evening of March 19.
Police in Charlotte continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
