Wayne, MI - I-94 Near Chalmers St Site of Car Accident With Injuries

Wayne, MI (March 19, 2022) - A car accident that took place on Saturday, March 19th caused at least one victim to sustain injuries.

Officials were called to the scene in the westbound lanes of Interstate 94 at the merge for Chalmers Road in Wayne. 

Emergency Medical Technicians also responded to the scene to provide medical aid to the injured parties. Officials are not releasing any details concerning the number of victims or the severity of their injuries.

No identities or current medical statuses have been released. 

All eastbound lanes were shut down while crash investigators conducted their investigation.
