Car Accidents in Michigan
After you are injured in a road accident, it is crucial to have your lawyer begin their investigation as soon as possible. This is because witnesses need to be interviewed, pictures need to be taken of the accident scene as well as the vehicle, and other evidence needs to be gathered. The more time goes by, the harder it is to track down eyewitnesses that will help your case, and evidence, such as surveillance videos from nearby stores, could be deleted.
Your insurance company could, and most likely will, undervalue your no-fault benefits without your knowledge. There are very rigid deadlines for filing insurance and personal injury claims. If you miss one of these deadlines, your case will be thrown out and you will not be given the opportunity to re-file, meaning you will not be able to receive recovery for your damages.
