Suttons Bay MI (March 17, 2022) - Two people were hurt in a car wreck in Suttons Bay on Tuesday, March 15. According to information provided by the Leelanau County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened just after 8:00 a.m.
Deputies from Leelanau County, Bingham, and Leland responded to the scene located on South Lake Leelanau Drive near O’Brien. Once they were on the scene, police determined that a southbound vehicle driven by a woman from Lake Leelanau, aged 51, collided with a northbound vehicle driven by a Traverse City man, aged 23.
Police say the man was stuck inside his vehicle as a result of the accident. Both victims were transported to Munson Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police in Suttons Bay continue to investigate the details of the incident.
