Detroit, MI (March 15, 2022) - Traffic was backed up on a roadway in Detroit on the afternoon of March 13 due to a car accident with verified injuries. The crash happened at around 3:20 p.m.
Numerous responders were observed at the scene, located on Interstate 96 near the Jeffries Freeway. The wreck happened in the westbound lanes and had traffic backed up to Telegraph Road on Sunday afternoon.
Police asked drivers in the area to steer clear of the scene while responders were present. Emergency personnel including police, EMTS, and fire crews were seen helping at the site of the wreck.
The total number of injured victims has not been reported to the public at this time. Police in Detroit are still investigating the details of the incident.
