Warren, MI (March 7, 2022) - On the evening of March 4, firefighters were sent to an apartment fire at an intersection in Warren.
Fire crews who worked on the scene reported heavy fire coming from a unit on the second floor with fire spreading to the top floor. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the unit of origin and prevent the fire from spreading to the top floor of the building.
The Warren Police Department helped evacuate the rest of the building. Sadly, one person lost their life in the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under police investigation.
