Stanton, MI (March 5, 2022) - An auto accident that happened on February 27 required an emergency dispatch in Stanton. At approximately 4:00 p.m., an unspecified number of vehicles were involved in a crash on South Greenville Road, also known as M-91.

The wreck happened in the southbound lanes at the intersection with West Dickerson Lake Road. The intersection was closed for an extended period of time on the February 27 while crews worked to secure the scene.

What caused the collision to occur remains unknown at this time. Paramedics assisted injured victims on-site before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals for treatment.
