Hundreds of thousands of vehicle accidents happen in the state of Michigan each year. On average, the Wolverine States sees about 300,000 traffic collisions per year. Approximately 75,000 people are hurt in these wrecks. Unfortunately, the majority of the injury collisions that take place in Michigan and throughout the United States are the result of driver negligence.
Driver negligence is defined as any time a driver does not exercise reasonable and responsible caution while behind the wheel. When a driver is distracted, fatigued, or intoxicated, they are driving negligently, putting themselves and everyone they come into contact with at risk for serious injury or even death.
Being hurt by a negligent driver automatically entitles a crash victim to compensation. Compensation can cover a large percentage of the costs associated with your accident if you have recently been injured in an accident caused by negligence.
No one should ever have to pay for being hurt by the reckless actions of another person. Driver negligence is responsible for more than 90% of the car accidents that happen in the United States. That is equivalent to millions of car accidents. Driver negligence is a serious and deadly problem among Americans, ending the lives of thousands of people per year.
