Detroit, MI (March 3, 2022) - At least one person required medical care at the site of a collision in Detroit on the afternoon of March 2. Just after 8:00 a.m., an unspecified number of vehicles collided on I-94.
Sources say the incident occurred on Interstate 94 near 12 Mile Road. The circumstances of the incident have not been reported at this time.
Various responders were dispatched to the area including emergency medical technicians, police, and firefighters. One or more people required emergency care on-site before being transported to local hospitals for further treatment as needed.
Authorities asked local motorists to steer clear of the area while crews worked to secure the scene. Traffic was backed up for some time on Thursday afternoon.
