Detroit, MI (February 27, 2022) - An injury collision was reported to police in Wayne County on the morning of February 27. At approximately 2:53 a.m., the incident took place on Interstate 94.
Officials in Wayne County responded to the scene, located near Interstate 75, to find at least one person in need of medical attention. The contributing factors of the crash have not been reported to the police at this time.
Sources indicate the accident took place when two or more vehicles collided, resulting in injuries for involved parties. Various responders were seen assisting injured victims at the crash scene.
One or more victims were transported from the scene of the accident to area medical centers for medical care as necessary. Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the crash site for an extended period of time.
