Holly, MI (February 26, 2022 ) - A major motor vehicle accident took place on an interstate in Holly on the afternoon of February 25. Responders were sent to the scene at around 2:40 p.m. to assist those involved.
Two lanes of Interstate 75 were blocked due to the collision that occurred in the northbound lanes before Saginaw Road/Exit 106. Traffic was backed up to Grange Hall Road/Exit 101 for some time due to the presence of emergency responders in the area.
Emergency vehicles were observed at the scene. However, at this time, the number of injured parties remains unknown. Those with extensive injuries were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Police in Holly continue to investigate the details of the incident. No further information has been reported at this time.
