Hundreds of car accidents happen per day in Michigan. On average, the state sees around 800 accidents per day. Many of these only result in property damage and minor injuries; however, a percentage of them do result in severe and sometimes even devastating injuries and death. Car accidents can be very traumatic, especially when you or someone you love is severely hurt. Auto crashes are one of the leading causes of death in the United States.
Auto accidents don’t just wreck vehicles, they can also wreck lives, sometimes forever. Even if injuries are not severe and recovery is likely, it is difficult to face physical ailments that may last a lifetime if the necessary treatment isn’t attainable due to insurance companies that won’t cover the full cost of medical expenses.
Even small accidents can result in severe pain for years, specifically neck and back pain, making daily activities difficult if not impossible. Auto collisions are also traumatic due to emotional stress that may arise due to hospital and medical bills paired with time lost at work, as well as numerous other social and family barriers that a damaged vehicle and broken body may cause.
