Monroe, MI (February 25, 2022) - A car accident occurred in Monroe on Friday evening, February 25. At 7:40 p.m., the collision occurred on US-31.
Officials say the accident happened after Sherman Boulevard, Exit 112. Police continue to investigate the reason the collision occurred. EMTs and police were sent to the crash site to render aid to the injured victims.
One or more people sustained injuries in the wreck, according to local reports. The left lane of the freeway was closed for some time while crews worked on-site. The injured victims were transported to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
