Detroit, MI (February 19, 2022) - At least one person required medical care at the site of a collision in Detroit on the afternoon of February 18. Just before 2:00 p.m., an unspecified number of vehicles collided on Mansfield Street.
Sources say the incident occurred on Mansfield Street at the intersection with Pilgrim Street. The circumstances of the incident have not been reported at this time.
Various responders were dispatched to the area including emergency medical technicians, police, and firefighters. One or more people required emergency care on-site before being transported to area medical centers for further treatment as needed.
Authorities asked local motorists to steer clear of the area while crews worked to secure the scene. Traffic was backed up for some time on Friday afternoon.
