Nearly half of those killed in auto accidents across the state were restrained at the time of the collision. Car accidents are the leading contributor to death and serious injuries in the United States. Statistics show that more fatal collisions take place each year, and the risk of sustaining severe injuries in a collision is more likely than you think. Even in non-fatal crashes, the resulting injuries can be life-changing. This can cause victims to be saddled with expensive medical bills while being unable to return to work to cover the costs. This difficult financial and emotional situation can quickly overwhelm innocent victims. Making sure you get the compensation that you need to make a full recovery after a serious car accident is critical, and that is why injured parties need to consult with a qualified attorney in order to maximize their chances of a successful personal injury claim.
