Texas, MI (February 15, 2022) - One person was injured following a car wreck that happened in Kalamazoo County Tuesday, February 15. Information from police states that the wreck closed one eastbound lane and one westbound lane.
The accident happened on Interstate 94 near mile marker 72.8. The Portage Department of Public Safety and the Texas Township Fire and Rescue worked to remove the injured party from a vehicle at the scene.
At this time, the contributing factors of the incident have not been reported. Motorists were advised to avoid the area as crews worked to clear the roadway.
Authorities continue to investigate the details of the crash.
