Lapeer, MI (February 13, 2022) - Authorities were dispatched to a roadway in Lapeer concerning reports of a car accident on February 13. At approximately 7:13 p.m., an unspecified number of vehicles collided on M-24, also known as Lapeer Road.

Sources say the accident happened at Daley Road for reasons still being investigated by police. Various responders were observed at the scene assisting those involved.

The roadway was closed for an extended period of time on the evening of February 13 while emergency personnel worked to secure the area. Those with extensive injuries were taken to area hospitals for treatment as needed.
