Gaylord, MI (February 13, 2022) - Multiple cars were involved in a collision in Otsego County on Saturday, February 12. Shortly after 4:00 p.m., Michigan State Police responded to the scene of the wreck located on M-32 near Townline Road.
Sources say that a 67-year-old man was headed west in the eastbound lane of the roadway near Gaylord, forcing two drivers who were headed east to swerve into a ditch. The man then collided with a Jeep head-on.
A pickup truck then rear-ended the Jeep and a small Buick, according to reports from officials. The man was reportedly flown to the hospital with critical injuries. The Jeep’s driver was also transported to the hospital with injuries.
Police continue to investigate the details of the incident. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
