Detroit, MI (February 11, 2021) - At least one person was hurt in a vehicle crash that occurred in Detroit on February 9. Shortly after 3:00 p.m., the incident was reported to authorities in the area who promptly responded to the scene.
The wreck occurred at the intersection of West 8 Mile Road and Meyers Road, according to information from officials. At least two vehicles were involved in a crash that resulted in injuries and a person who became entrapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters extricated the trapped individual and transported them to an area hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The total number of injured parties has not been reported at this time.
The area in which the collision occurred was closed to local traffic while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Authorities in Detroit continue to investigate the details of the incident.
