A head-on collision is more likely to result in fatal injuries than other car crashes. With a death rate of over 58%, head-on collisions are among the deadliest. They are responsible for more than 10% of all annual road fatalities despite accounting for less than 2% of all reported traffic accidents. Careless or distracted drivers swerving into opposing lanes of traffic are the most common cause of these collisions.
The pain of losing a loved one due to someone else's negligence is almost unbearable. It can result in unexpected costs for those who are close to the victim. Family members who survive the accident are frequently the ones who bear the brunt of the accident's consequences. They may be able to recover lost compensation by filing a wrongful death claim with the help of an experienced Montcalm Township wrongful death attorney. A wrongful death claim seeks compensation from those responsible for the deceased's death by holding the at-fault party accountable for their role in a fatal accident.
