Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
A head-on collision is more likely to result in fatal injuries than other collisions. With a death rate of over 58%, head-on collisions are among the deadliest. They are responsible for more than 10% of all annual road fatalities despite accounting for less than 2% of all reported traffic accidents. Careless or distracted drivers swerving into opposing lanes of traffic are the most common cause of these collisions.
In the United States, car accidents are the leading cause of death and serious injury. More fatal collisions occur each year, according to statistics, and the risk of serious injury in a collision is higher than you might think. Even non-fatal accidents can result in life-altering injuries. If the victims are unable to return to work, they may be faced with large medical bills that they are unable to pay. Innocent victims may be overwhelmed by this difficult financial and emotional situation. After a serious car accident, it's critical to get the compensation you need, which is why injured parties should speak with a qualified attorney to increase their chances of a successful personal injury claim.
