Flint, MI - Cyclist Fatally Hit by Jeep at Dort Hwy & Nebraska Ave

Flint, MI (January 13, 2022) - A traffic accident in Flint resulted in the death of a bicyclist on Wednesday night, January 12. The deadly bicycle crash was reported at the intersection of Dort Highway and Nebraska Avenue at around 7:15 p.m. 

The male rider was headed southbound on the highway when he was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee. The rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. No additional information has been released at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly bicycle accident is underway.
