Fenton Twp, MI (January 8, 2022) - A man was injured following a two-vehicle accident in Fenton Township on Tuesday night, December 28. The crash reportedly took place on US-23 at around 7:18 p.m.
Local reports revealed that a driver was rear-ended by a dark-colored minivan. The at-fault motorist fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The minivan was last seen traveling southbound on the highway.
The driver of the other vehicle complained of neck pain and was taken to McLaren Medical Center for treatment. Local authorities later found a heavily damaged vehicle after responding to a domestic disturbance call, and a suspect is currently is in custody.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is underway.
