Detroit, MI (January 5, 2022) - Four people were seriously injured following a structure fire in the Detroit area on Monday afternoon, January 3. The fire took place at the 17000 block of Kentucky Street.
Firefighters and law enforcement officials were called to the scene. A mother and her three children suffered serious injuries in the incident. The 30-year-old woman and three young children were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of smoke inhalation. No updates on their conditions have been released at this time.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is in progress.
