Grand Rapids, MI (January 4, 2022) - One person was hospitalized after a house fire in Grand Rapids on Tuesday morning, January 4. The incident was reported at around 1:45 a.m. at a residence on Woolsey Drive SW.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire with occupants potentially being trapped inside. Emergency responders found heavy flames coming from a single-story structure. No one was reportedly inside when firefighters arrived.
After putting out the blaze, the house was searched for victims. One person at the scene was treated and transported to a local hospital. No further updates have been released.
