Rollover crashes can be attributable to the reckless actions of distracted motorists or inclement roadway conditions. Rollovers were involved in nearly 35% of traffic deaths in 2010. These types of accidents account for less than 2% of reported crashes that year. An estimated 7,600 persons were killed in rollover crashes that year, with unrestrained individuals accounting for 69% of rollover fatalities.
In the United States, car accidents are the leading cause of death and serious injury. More fatal collisions occur each year, according to statistics, and the risk of suffering serious injuries in a collision is higher than you may believe. Even in non-fatal collisions, the injuries sustained can be life-altering. This can leave victims with large medical bills and no way to pay them because they are unable to return to work. Innocent victims may be overwhelmed by this difficult financial and emotional situation. After a serious car accident, it's critical to make sure you get the compensation you need to recover fully, which is why injured parties should speak with a qualified attorney to increase their chances of a successful personal injury claim.
