Detroit, MI (January 3, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in the Detroit area sent an unknown number of people to area hospitals where they underwent emergency treatment for injuries. At around 10 a.m., on January 3, the police and firefighters responded to a crash that blocked Michigan Avenue.
Reports from the Detroit Police Department show that vehicles were involved in a collision in the area of 8333 Michigan Avenue during the morning hours. The incident caused some disruptions in traffic throughout the area as the police assisted firefighters with securing and clearing the roadway.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to treat those in need of medical care. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
At this time, the police in Detroit are investigating the crash.
