Three Rivers, MI (December 28, 2021) - A fatal auto-pedestrian collision occurred in Three Rivers on Monday evening. The wreck, which occurred at around 5:37 p.m., is currently under police investigation.
Numerous responders were sent to the scene of the crash located on North Main Street near the intersection with Cushman Street. When officials with the Three Rivers Fire Department and the Three Rivers Police Department arrived at the scene, they found a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle.
Reports indicate that the pedestrian was attempting to cross the street at the intersection when for unknown reasons they were struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was identified only as a 39-year-old Three Rivers Resident.
Sadly, the victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene and passed away. The Three Rivers Police Department continues to investigate the details of the incident. They are assisted in the investigation by the St Joseph County Sheriff’s Office and the White Pigeon Police Department.
