Mason, MI - Auto Crash on I-69 near Coolidge Rd & Harrison Rd Requires Emergency Response

Mason, MI (December 26, 2021) - Police and other responders were sent to assist at the scene of an auto accident reported in Mason. The incident happened at approximately 3:22 p.m. on the afternoon of December 26.

The contributing factors of the wreck are still under local law enforcement investigation at this time. Reports indicate that the collision happened on Interstate 69 between Coolidge Road and Harrison Road.

Numerous respondents were seen in the area shortly after the incident took place, causing the roadway to close for some time during the afternoon hours. One or more people sustained injuries, however, the extent of those injuries has not been determined. 

Paramedics were seen assisting injured victims on-site before transporting them to local medical centers as needed. Traffic was backed up on I-69 near Coolidge Road for some time while crews worked at the scene.
