Flint, MI (December 23, 2021) - Police and other responders were sent to assist at the scene of an auto accident reported in Genesee County, Flint. The incident happened at approximately 6:23 a.m. on Thursday, December 23.
The contributing factors of the wreck are still under local law enforcement investigation at this time. It happened in the eastbound lanes of I-69 after Miller Road (Exit 129.)
Numerous respondents were seen in the area shortly after the incident took place, causing the roadway to close for some time on the morning of December 23. One or more people sustained injuries in the collision, however, the extent of those injuries has not been determined.
Paramedics were seen assisting injured victims on-site before transporting them to local medical centers as needed. Traffic was backed up on I-69 for some time while crews worked at the scene.
