Saginaw, MI (December 20, 2021) - An elderly woman lost her life over the weekend when she was struck by a vehicle on a rural road in Saginaw. The wreck was reported on M-46 at around 12:55 p.m. on December 19.
Sources say the incident occurred near South Reese Road when a 1995 Ford Econoline Van was headed west on M-46. The driver lost control for reasons unknown and struck the woman who was retrieving mail from her mailbox at the time.
An ambulance rushed the female victim to a local medical center where she later lost her life. Police in Michigan continue to investigate the details of the incident.
