Having the professional guidance of a Michigan pedestrian crash lawyer is highly beneficial when you’ve been injured in a pedestrian crash. Especially in the case that a negligent driver caused your injuries, you may be eligible for financial compensation that can help cover the costs associated with your crash.
The best way to go about collecting that compensation is to enlist the help of an attorney. An experienced lawyer can defend your legal rights to ensure that your medical bills are paid and that you are compensated for your lost wages as per the state’s no-fault auto insurance law.
If you choose to attempt to try and collect compensation without a lawyer, you will most likely be taken advantage of by the insurance companies. Unfortunately, they attempt to coerce injured crash victims into accepting little to no financial compensation for their losses and close out their cases as quickly as possible. The no-fault laws in Michigan are complex and may be problematic for the unprepared, which is why having a reputable and experienced lawyer is vital.
Our personal injury attorneys at the Michigan Legal Center are ready to help and defend you if you were injured or a family member was killed in a pedestrian accident. It is our job to ensure that you receive every no-fault benefit you are entitled to receive from the car insurance company as well as the full amount of pain and suffering compensation you are entitled to.

Perhaps the only thing worse than being hurt in a crash is losing someone you love. Unfortunately, fatal accidents happen all the time in Michigan. When a loved one loses their life due to the careless, reckless, or negligent actions of a motorist, their surviving family members should be fairly compensated for their loss. A wrongful death lawyer in Southfield will be able to help you figure out how you can collect compensation to cover things like funeral costs, medical bills, and even emotional turmoil and loss of life enjoyment.
