Kawkawlin, MI (December 3, 2021) - Two police officers with the Michigan State Police department as well as a teenage driver sustained injuries after their involvement in an auto accident in Bay County. The troopers were traveling south on Mackinaw Road at around 7:15 p.m. on December 1 when the crash happened.
As the two police officers were headed south near Linwood Road in their 2016 Ford Police interceptor, they were involved in a crash with a 2004 Pontiac Vibe headed west. The Vibe was being driven by a 17-year-old female from Linwood, reports said.
The Pontiac was then involved in an accident with a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado headed east, driven by a man from Linwood, aged 66. Injuries were reported in the accident. The two troopers and the teenager were treated at an area hospital shortly after the incident occurred.
The other driver involved was not hurt, according to information from officials. The incident remains under local law enforcement investigation.

A serious auto collision can take moments to occur, but can permanently change your life. However, out of the 300,000 vehicle collisions that take place in the state of Michigan every year, a large percentage of them result in just property damage.
Unfortunately, numerous accidents that happen in the Wolverine State result in severe personal injuries and fatalities. Even a car accident that may only seem like an insignificant fender-bender can cause grave bodily harm, emotional trauma, and financial burdening.
If you were hurt in a car crash, or your life has been directly affected by the loss of a family member who was killed in a deadly accident, you could be entitled to collect financial compensation for your injuries and losses. It is important to never sign any documents, agree to a settlement, or even speak with an insurance adjuster until you have consulted an experienced Michigan personal injury attorney.
