Paradise, MI (November 30, 2021) - One man has lost his life after his involvement in a head-on collision in Grand Traverse County. Michigan State Police were called to the scene at approximately 1:10 p.m. Saturday, November 27 to assist involved parties.
The wreck was reported to have taken place on South Garfield Road near East Blair Town Hall Road when a 50-year-old resident of Alma was involved in a head-on crash with a 71-year-old Kingsley resident.
The man from Alma required extrication from his vehicle by first responders. He was transported to an area hospital where he later lost his life. The man from Kingsley reportedly suffered a broken right hand.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor.
