Detroit, MI - Injuries Reported After Car Accident on Hwy 39 at Joy Rd

Detroit, MI (November 29, 2021) - A car accident took place in Detroit at about 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29th.

Police and emergency responders were dispatched to the area in the southbound lanes of State Highway 39 at the intersection of Joy Road. Upon their arrival, they rendered aid and transportation to the injured victims. 

The righthand shoulder and one right lane of the highway were shut down while officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.  

The names of the victims have not been released.
