Wheatland, MI (November 27, 2021) - A man from Adrian man was med flighted from the scene of a car accident in Wheatland Township on Tuesday, November 23rd.
Deputies were called at about 2:50 p.m. to East Bacon Road, in the area of Pittsford Road, along with other emergency responders.
Sources reported that a 77-year old woman from Hillsdale driving a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on East Bacon Road was slowing down to enter a private driveway.
As the Jeep turned, it struck a 1999 Chevrolet driven by a 23-year-old male from Adrian.
The man was taken by Survival Flight of Ann Arbor from the accident scene to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson.
The woman received medical treatment at the scene.
Deputies were assisted on the scene by Addison Fire & EMS and the North Adams Fire Department.
This accident remains under investigation.
