Holland Township, MI (November 23, 2021) - Two people were hurt and required hospitalization after their involvement in a car accident in Holland on the morning of Monday, November 22. It occurred at around 11:10 a.m.
Sources indicate that the accident happened at James Street and Beeline Road when a southbound driver ran a red light and struck a vehicle headed east at the intersection. Both drivers involved were hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The drivers involved were identified as a 70-year-old woman from Holland and a 65-year-old woman from Holland. Various responders were seen at the crash site for some time after the incident took place.
Delays in traffic were observed while emergency crews worked in the area. Police in Holland continue to investigate.
